The Master’s Message – September 2010
Brethren,
This is our newsletter for September 2010.
If you haven’t been down to lodge in a while, you are missing out on some great fun and fellowship.
We have had (2) Fellowcraft degrees this month, and have an Entered Apprentice degree scheduled for September 27th.
Please come down and help us work in the degrees of Masonry, and enjoy some great fellowship as well as a fantastic
meal by our stewards.
Our DDGM will make an official visit at our September 13th stated meeting, with some important news from Grand Lodge. This meeting will be open to Master Mason’s only, but everyone is always welcome for dinner.
We are planning a blood drive for sometime early next year. This will be a joint drive with our brethren from Trinity Valley
Lodge. We will probably hold at a venue like a Walmart or gun show or similar, and will just need to get patrons to donate,
Carter BloodCare will do the rest. Look for more information soon.
Please take the time to call a brother you haven’t seen in a while and invite him back to lodge. We would both benefit from
his participation. I know they would be glad to hear from you.
Brother Bill Berryman is in Baylor Rehab on Gaston, Room 203. Brother Bob Moore is in Rockwall Presbyterian, Room 108.
Please give them a call or go by and visit them, and remember them in your prayers.
If you would like to be on the lodge email list, please email your address to sampcochran1335@gmail.com and brother SW Paul Casey will see that you are on the list. Also check out our new FACEBOOK page. Search Sam P. Cochran.
If anyone has any questions please contact the trestle board at 214-748-4582, Darrell C Hefley at 817-846-9224, or via email at darrellhef@att.net.
Come down and help your lodge promote the tenants of Freemasonry in our community.
This newsletter is to inform you of important happenings at YOUR Lodge!
With Sincere Fraternal Regards,
Darrell C. Hefley
